A small area of marshes is out of bounds; this is shown on the map.

Terrain:

The terrain is very hilly, mostly wooded and with a number of rocky areas. There are areas of windblown trees (a result of several storms in the area) and some undergrowth (broom); progress is slower in these areas.

A number of winter show-shoe trails (marked by special waymarkers) are shown on the map.
